A part of my practice is the critique of and comment on commercial media tropes that I encounter whilst negotiating an academic based rigour.

Being that a core of my imagery is produced with a research methodology, this series of small vintage collectables is a series that takes on a quality that could be described as affect in the way they were presented in such a stark way.

From the methods of the social-sciences to the practices of the East Coast artists, these portray the glimpses of close things in a different way.
